Unlock Your Mental Game – Perform With Confidence
Golf isn’t just about swing mechanics — your mind plays a huge role in how you perform on the course. Nerves, pressure, missed shots, or poor planning can hold you back from playing your best, no matter how much practice you’ve put in.
That’s where my Mental Game Performance Coaching comes in.
Drawing on my study in sport psychology and over a year of working closely with a performance psychologist, I help golfers at all levels strengthen the mental side of their game. Together, we’ll develop practical tools and strategies you can use every time you step onto the course.
What we work on:
-
Staying calm and focused under pressure
-
Managing nerves and arousal levels
-
Creating effective pre-shot and performance plans
-
Goal setting that keeps you motivated and on track
-
Bouncing back from setbacks and missed shots
-
Building resilience and confidence round after round
Whether you’re a competitive player or a social golfer who wants to get more enjoyment out of the game, mental performance coaching can help you unlock consistency, confidence, and a stronger mindset.

About Me.

I’m Stacey Koppens, a golf coach with a passion for helping players unlock their full potential through mental performance coaching. Over the past several years, I’ve worked closely with golfers of all levels—from juniors taking their first swings to competitive club players—supporting them in building the mindset skills that truly make a difference on the course.

In high school I had the opportunity to work with a psychologist who taught us many of the skills high performing athletes need to perform as well as completing university study in sport psychology while not a registered psychologist this experience has given me a strong foundation in mental game principles, including goal setting, managing pressure, developing pre-shot routines, handling nerves, and bouncing back from setbacks. I combine this knowledge with practical, real-world coaching to give players actionable tools they can use immediately.
Why I Love It
I love mental performance coaching because I get to see the transformation in players—not just in their scores, but in their confidence, focus, and enjoyment of the game. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching a player step up under pressure, trust their process, and realise their own potential. Helping golfers strengthen their mindset is about more than improving performance; it’s about giving them the tools to enjoy golf with consistency, resilience, and joy.
