All Abilities Golf

Omokoroa Golf Club

We welcome children and adults from age 8 and up from the all-abilities community with a physical disability to come and have a go at golf. The sessions are all-inclusive so if you have family wanting to join in or have played golf before you are welcome to come along and I'll be there to assist individuals along the way.

Sessions will be 45 minutes to 1 hour starting at 12pm and will cover putting, chipping, full swing, and on the golf course for a few holes. $15pp per session includes course fees, equipment as well as coaching. ($60 total per person for 4 weeks, normally $200)

Session one 8th Sept 12pm- Introduction to putting
Session two 15th Sept 12pm - Introduction to chipping
Session three 22nd Sept 12pm- Introduction to full-swing
Session four 29th Sept 12pm- Introduction to on-course play

About the Golf Club
The driving range at the golf club does require a membership or a green fee booking to access however during the 4-week programme this will be made available for the participants outside of the session times range balls are $5 per bucket.
​
Green fees to play on the golf course are $45 for up to 9 holes, there are 10 game concession cards for $250 - access to the course is free with membership there is a range of membership options available so please speak with the office about which options might suit you best.
Subject to availability bookings should be made through the office each time you wish to play on the course.

About the Venue
A gently slopping golf course with level entry to the clubhouse no stairs. There is a decline (hill) to navigate to the practice area on grass.
The golf course has a range of course lengths including a short course option.
The clubhouse is old and is going to be refurbished significantly, the access via the front entryway is a level entry with wide doors. Bathrooms currently do not have an accessible bathroom and grab handles have not been installed. The club is looking to address these however currently if this is an issue we welcome you to come and view or bring assistive equipment if you need.
